You can help changes lives through literacy by being a partner with Literacy Volunteers of Collier County. Since 1984, Literacy Volunteers of Collier County has been assisting functionally illiterate adults and non-English speakers to read, write and speak English using effective programs that get results. These include one-on-one tutoring, small group classes, and innovative computer-based learning programs.
LVCC receives no financial support from our national organization, Pro-Literacy America or the federal government. Instead, we must depend on foundations, corporations, and most importantly, generous and caring people like YOU – people who are concerned about the future of Naples and Collier County.
You will also have the satisfaction of knowing you have helped someone learn to learn English and become a productive member of our community!
Your generous donation will help:
- Cover costs for in-training workshops for tutors;
- Purchase workbooks and texts for small-group class sessions;
- Purchase software for LVCC’s new student computer lab;
- Fund storybooks for students to practice reading English aloud to their families;
- Build a sustainable endowment so LVCC can continue to grow and serve Collier County as it grows.

An alternative to flowers, a memorial gift is a unique and special way to honor a friend or family member during a time of great sadness. You will also have the satisfaction in knowing how your memorial gift will have lasting impact by supporting literacy efforts in Collier County.
The person or family you designate will be sent a letter acknowledging your gift but the amount of the gift will not be shown.
