As a nonprofit organization, Literacy Volunteers of Collier County depends not only on the support of individual donors, but corporations, local businesses, and foundations to fund its important literacy programs.
General support grants and sponsorships make it possible for LVCC to purchase computers cover costs for reference materials for tutors, students and important outreach projects, and help cover critical operating expenses for LVCC to sustain its operation and grow according to the needs of the community.
Tax deductible contributions made to LVCC reinforce social responsibility while giving our donors the opportunity to take a leadership role in the community. A grant in support of literacy is an investment in education for Collier County.
Here are ways your business can be a Partner in Literacy:
The Alphabet Project is an exciting corporate fundraising program that allows local businesses and organizations to support literacy programs through sponsorship of a letter of the alphabet for one year.
Proceeds from this program enable us to continue to provide programs and services in support of our mission: to teach illiterate and non-English speaking adults to read, write and speak English
Alphabet Project Sponsors receive recognition in regularly run ads in the Naples Daily News, in the LVCC newsletter and in special event program books throughout the course of the year.
LVCC also holds an annual Alphabet Project Sponsor luncheon, to recognize and thank the businesses that support us all year long.

We welcome contributions from foundations and businesses to our annual appeal or to fund a specific literacy project. All grants are tax deductible and a detailed report will be provided to show how the grant was used.
